Sarah Valentina Diaz

Graduate Students

Sarah is a doctoral student at the Columbia School of Social Work. She received a Masters in Social Work with a specialization in trauma at Boston University. She previously studied at Tufts University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Cognitive Brain Science and Community Health in 2014. Sarah's research background is primarily in community-based settings working with Latino populations in Boston. Her main research interest is in the effects of toxic stress in communities of color, especially as it pertains to mental health outcomes.
